One of the best ways to find a business mentor is to look around where you live and find people who have been successful in business but who have recently retired. They have experience and connections and may have the time and interest in helping someone else. Another way is to talk with people who are currently in business and ask if they might recommend anyone. Introduce yourself and say you are looking for good advice. That is straight-forward and is a compliment at the same time.

this is great lesson for sure but i wanted to be sure on how mentors can really be active and how can you know that someones might be active mentor?
